Our series “SimPlan turns 30” / Part 7 – Founding of the SimPlan Holzgerlingen branch office
The Holzgerlingen branch was founded in 2007. The focus is on the handling of simulation projects in the areas of production or warehousing and logistics. Above all, customers from Baden-Württemberg (including automotive OEMs and suppliers) benefit from the local presence.
The branch manager Wolfgang Artschwager is also head of the Hanau branch and thus responsible for 15 simulation experts.
Mr Artschwager is also our quality manager and largely responsible for our DIN certifications. Thanks to him, we have been ISO 9001:2015 certified since 2015. In 2021, we acquired the TISAX certificate.
The Holzgerlingen branch is involved in two associations in the Baden-Württemberg region: In the Intralogistics Network in Baden-Württemberg e.V. as well as in the MANUFUTURE©-BW e.V. association, which promotes the exchange and cooperation of production technology companies as well as research institutions.
By the way, our Holzgerlingen office will be relocating to Sindelfingen at the end of July.
