2nd Expert Forum Supply Chain Simulation in the context of the IAA
SimPlan AG is organizing a specialist forum with top-class speakers as part of the International Motor Show (IAA)
At the IAA in Frankfurt, SimPlan AG is supplementing its trade fair presence with the 2nd Supply Chain Simulation specialist forum on 21 September 2005 at the Congress Center of Messe Frankfurt. Experts from well-known companies such as T-Systems International and DaimlerChrysler will report from their practical experience.
Simulation has become an indispensable part of automotive engineering. There is hardly a development or production step that does not go through a virtual test before it is implemented in reality. But simulation also offers opportunities for uncovering hidden potential and optimizing processes when considering the entire supply chain.
The Supply Chain Simulation specialist forum takes this into account. For the second time, experts in automotive logistics will meet to present new developments, exchange experiences and analyze trends.
Topics such as the use of simulation in location decisions, the optimization of inventory management across the supply chain and interface optimization between OEMs and suppliers are just as much on the agenda as structural planning taking into account call-off fluctuations and current projects at OEMs and suppliers.
For those who are not able to attend the expert forum, SimPlan AG offers the opportunity to inform themselves personally at booth no. D12 in hall 5.1/6.1 during the entire IAA. Together with IP Fischer, SimPlan AG will present aspects of the digital factory. From virtual planning and the selection of suitable software to specific applications of simulation technology in production and logistics, trade fair visitors can gain insights into the world of virtual automotive engineering.
