We see the future of simulation technology in artificial intelligence.
AI is on everyone’s lips, and of course we at SimPlan have been dealing with this topic for quite some time. We want to significantly improve the creation and optimisation of simulation models by using AI algorithms.
The advantages are many and varied:
➡ Accelerated processes: AI enables faster design creation and iterations, which means that solutions can be found and implemented more quickly.
➡ Increased accuracy: By using techniques such as deep learning, complex problems can be solved more precisely and efficiently.
➡ Cost savings: Automation and optimisation lead to lower costs in model development and maintenance.
➡ Accessibility: AI-powered tools could become easier and more user-friendly, enabling more users to apply simulation technologies.
➡ Comprehensive data processing: AI can efficiently analyse, supplement and correct large amounts of data, resulting in more informed and accurate simulation results.
➡ Continuous learning: AI models can constantly adapt to new data and processes, making it easier to maintain and develop models.
We see great potential for the use of AI particularly in the logistics industry:
✓ real-time simulation: simulation-based AI, supported by modern graphics technology, enables the simulation of complex logical processes in real time.
✓ automation: new developments in sensor technology and robotics could lead to more efficient and smarter automation.
✓ Optimisation of logistical processes: AI and machine learning can help to use resources more efficiently and improve logistical performance.
Our vision is to integrate AI into existing systems to optimise workflows and shorten development times. We are working to develop innovative solutions for complex technical challenges using generative design and simulation-based AI technologies.
SimPlan is also actively involved in research and development projects to further advance the application possibilities of AI in simulation.
