Our series “SimPlan turns 30” / Part 16 – the most important thing at the end
As we wrap up our series and head into a short summer break, we’d like to thank you for the great feedback. In 16 parts we have presented our development, our offices, the board, the branch managers and more. We hope you have gained a little insight into our company and learned a lot of new things.
But today we would like to talk about the most important thing at SimPlan: Our employees.
In 30 years, we have grown from a two-man company to one that currently employs around 120 people. In a familial environment, we try to give everyone the necessary freedom to contribute their strengths to our goal: We want to remain the one-stop simulation provider in the DACH region.
Our employees appreciate the transparency and open communication within the company. At quarterly highlights meetings – in June for the first time after two years on site in person – we discussed the latest figures and developments. In interesting presentations, employees present their highlights: these are new projects, new products or further developments in individual branches. Everyone benefits from the networking between the locations.
Besides the work, there is of course also fun and togetherness.
Many joint events and excursions, whether official or private, weld us together. In addition to the annual Christmas party, a group of runners takes part in the JP Morgan Run in Frankfurt every year. We also organise an annual company outing for the AG and a SimPlan meets SimPlan (SMS) for all branches. The SMS takes place at the various locations and has already taken us from the Allgäu to Goslar, from Regensburg to Frankfurt. High ropes course, driving safety training, baseball, canoeing, geocaching – we have already experienced a lot and are currently looking forward to the next SMS in Rheingau.
