Our series “SimPlan turns 30” / Part 5 – Participation in induSim GmbH
In 2004 SimPlan acquired a stake in induSim GmbH, Centrum für industrielle Simulationen, founded in 1998 by managing director Georg Zeller. induSim specialises in virtual product development. This includes the topics of dynamic multi-body systems (MBS) for the simulation of movements, finite element calculations (FEM) for the simulation of strengths as well as flow and heat flow simulations (CFD). With the methods of AI, optimal constructive variants can be generated from a multitude of parameters. The performance of individual parts and assemblies always improves significantly.
As a certified reseller, induSim offers a wide range of software products from these areas and is also available as a service provider for the handling of holistic simulation projects.
