From single machine availability to line efficiency

SimPlan presents new software tool at FachPack 2004

At FachPack 2004 in Nuremberg, SimPlan AG, together with Rovema, will present a tool that can be used to safeguard investments in packaging lines.

Together with the packaging machine manufacturer Rovema, SimPlan has developed a tool that can be used to quickly and easily determine efficiencies, personnel requirements, etc. for packaging lines, from dosing to complete cartons. The effect of innovations on the performance of a line can thus be precisely mapped in advance. Approximate deductions and “oracles” about the value of investments are a thing of the past.

Similar to CAD systems, lines can be set up quickly and easily via “drag & drop”. They are then also calculated and even animated. The results are both reliable and illustrative thanks to this procedure. Thanks to a modular structure, the calculation models can be integrated and can also be used to map complete factory or logistics processes.
