SimPlan introduces latest product development: SimAssist
New assistance tool for simulation users
Simulation specialist SimPlan is introducing its latest software product on July 1, 2015: SimAssist, a tool for professional support of simulation users.
In addition to simulation services and the distribution of simulation software, SimPlan has also been developing its own products for many years, such as building block kits for Plant Simulation from Siemens PLM Software or complementary tools. Now SimPlan’s Regensburg branch is introducing the new product SimAssist.
SimAssist emerged from the research projects AssistSim and EDASim, the former of which was awarded 2nd place at the Hessian Cooperation Award. The system enables professional processing of simulation results, which no software known on the market has been able to do to this extent so far. The simulation data can not only be managed with SimAssist, but the user can also evaluate and optimize them in a variety of ways and transfer them to project documentation. This represents an enormous workload reduction for all simulation users and thus supports the return on investment considerably.
Due to the modular structure of SimAssist, the various modules can be freely selected based on a base module (4base) and thus adapted to individual requirements. It is also possible to purchase a developer license – this allows users to develop their own plug-ins tailored exactly to their needs and thus participate in the creation of their own personal software for simulation users. The already successfully introduced product SimView, widely used in the automotive industry, among others, will be integrated into SimAssist as an independent plug-in in the 2view module.
“With SimAssist, we have created a tool that offers us and all simulation users valuable support in the handling of simulation projects. Thanks to fast analyses and end-to-end transparency within a simulation project, a gain in efficiency is measurable,” says Stephan Stauber, branch manager of SimPlan Regensburg.
All interested parties can now request test licenses for SimAssist via the website www.simassist.de to get to know the system better.
