ASIM Prize for Discrete Event Simulation awarded
As the largest European simulation conference for production and logistics, the ASIM symposium presents trends and current developments, scientific work and interesting applications in industry every two years.
This year the ASIM awarded the Kassel student Daniel Daude for his bachelor thesis on simulation and digital twins. With the help of the sponsors SimPlan AG and INCONTROL Simulation Software, a jury selected Mr. Daude’s work from a large number of submitted theses. Among other things, the thesis is characterized by a very careful processing of the topic in connection with a concrete practical application. The prize was presented to the proud prizewinner during an evening celebration at a symposium held in Chemnitz from 18 – 20 September 2019 in front of 200 participants.
