20. ASIM Symposium 2023 “Simulation for Production und Logistics” at the TU Ilmenau
Every two years, the ASIM Symposium Simulation in Production and Logistics present new developments and applications of simulation with changing focus topics.
For many years SimPlan has participated in this largest European simulation conference with presentations and as sponsor of the simulation award. In technical lectures and workshops, research, development and industrial use are on an equal footing. New scientific work is discussed as well as successful applications of simulation in companies. This provides participants with insights into the application possibilities and benefits of simulation in practice.
On the occasion of the ASIM symposium “Simulation in Production and Logistics”, ASIM again awards outstanding theses (diploma, master or bachelor) in the field of simulation in production and logistics.
The Discrete Event Simulation Award is again sponsored by SimPlan and Incontrol. (see image from 2021). In 2021, the award ceremony was held online due to known circumstances – now a presence event is planned again.
The prize is endowed with 1.000€. The award winners will report on their work at the conference. The prize therefore additionally includes the conference fee as well as a lump sum of 500€ to cover travel and accommodation expenses. Furthermore, the membership in ASIM is free of charge in the year of the award and in the two following years.
Details on how to apply for the award are available here.
More details about the program will follow shortly.
