SimPlan will be at LATC 2025 again: digitalisation meets lean
In 2025, SimPlan will once again be exhibiting at Lean Around The Clock (LATC) 2025, the central event on the topic of lean, organised by LeanBase in Mannheim. For 2025, the event is limited to 400 participants and thus remains an exclusive meeting place for lean enthusiasts, companies and thought leaders from a wide range of industries.
Our focus: digitalisation of value stream analyses with SimVSM
At the SimPlan stand in 2025, everything revolves around the digitalisation of value stream analyses. With our innovative app SimVSM, we offer solutions for converting analogue value streams into efficient, digital workflows. We rely on the combination of artificial intelligence (AI), simulation and lean methods to not only visualise processes, but also to make them future-proof.
VaStNet project: Lean meets LLM
We are also making great progress in the integration of value streams, lean management and large language models (LLMs). As first impressions from the VaStNet project, which is also funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), we show how AI can assist with value stream modelling in dialogue.
KompAKI project: AI meets lean
One highlight of our presence will be the KompAKI project – the competence centre for work and artificial intelligence in the Rhine-Main area – funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). In this project, we are working with partners to develop innovative approaches to combining value stream analysis, AI and simulation methods. The aim is to digitally transform manually created value streams and make them usable for further analysis.
