When two high-profile events take place in close proximity, we can’t miss them: In March, we were represented as SimPlan AG at the LeanAroundTheClock in Mannheim and the Lean Conference in Frankfurt.
In addition to the focus topic selected by us, value stream mapping using our SimVSM app, general questions about simulation were of course a popular topic of discussion with company representatives from a wide range of industries. From self-employed lean consultants to representatives of more conservative market participants such as Deutsche Bahn and companies from the automotive supply industry, our regular partners were on hand for an open and stimulating exchange. At the same time, discussions with companies such as BioNtech or ABB/Busch-Jaeger offered the opportunity to gain insights into their use of our tools such as Plant Simulation and SimVSM.
The project KompAKI; the Competence Center for Work and Artificial Intelligence in the Rhine-Main area, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, was also a central aspect of the talks. Within the scope of the project, SimPlan plans to link artificial intelligence methods, value stream analysis and simulation, so that manually drawn value streams can be digitized and made further processable.
All in all, it can be said that participation in both events was a complete success and that we were able to use the opportunity to present SimPlan as a strong and innovative partner.
