SimPlan AG receives enterprise award of the German Operations Research Society (Gesellschaft für Operations Research e.V.)
At the anniversary of Gesellschaft für Operations Research (GOR), which took place at the beginning of September with more than 1000 participants from universities and companies in Aachen, SimPlan AG was awarded the GOR company prize.

The award, which has been awarded by GOR every two years since 2006, honors companies that are particularly committed to the use and spread of operations research in practice. The past prize winners include Siemens AG and BASF SE.
GOR pays tribute to SimPlan’s commitment to simulation in the area of production and logistics, the combination of simulation and optimization in practice, as well as the close cooperation between SimPlan and universities in the training of students and in joint research projects, which was emphasuch as the chairman of the Prize winner, Prof. Leena Suhl from the University of Paderborn, at the award ceremony to the SimPlan Executive Board Dr. Harry Kestenbaum and Dr. Ulrich Burges.
“We see the award of the prize as an incentive to continue to engage us intensively in research, development and training,” said SimPlan CEO Dr. Sven Spieckermann.
