We have acquired TISAX certification for our automotive customers
Information security is a crucial requirement along the entire value chain of the automotive industry for OEMs and their suppliers and service providers to work together. Sensitive data is exchanged and there is often close involvement in product development.
Until now, each manufacturer inspected its suppliers itself. In most cases, the Information Security Assessment (ISA) requirements catalog developed jointly by the ENX Association and the VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry) was used. This meant that many companies had to undergo the same audit several times with different clients.
In order to reduce this high effort, the VDA together with ENX established the testing and exchange mechanism TISAX® (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) at the beginning of 2017. A specially developed online platform is used for the cross-company exchange of test results in information security in the automotive sector.
SimPlan successfully passed the certification in July. The certification result can only be accessed via the ENX portal and is generally not intended for the general public.
